Over the last few weeks I have been exploring making printmaking accessible through gel plate printing. The process of using the gel plates forces participants to find freedom in their creativity and to let go of perfectionism, resulting in beautiful, layered colourful prints.
The tactile nature of gel plate monoprinting also allows participants who are sight impaired to engage in the workshops.
